The difference between pasteurised & unpasteurised juice?

The pasteurisation process essentially takes a product (like juice produce) to a very high temperature for a short period of time. The product is then immediately cooled down. During this process, chemicals are applied to the produce to ensure bacteria does not form during packaging. This heat is used to destroy harmful bacteria but also destroys several good bacteria's in the process.

Our juices being unpasteurised means that they don’t lose valuable enzymes and vitamins during processing. Paired with the fact that enzymes are not destroyed and oxidised by heat, our cold pressed juices contain maximum nutritional value, but means that they do have a shorter shelf life than the average juice but we think you’ll agree, this is a small price to pay for a supa healthy, delicious drink!
